BRITTANY MURPHY (Nov. 10, 1977 – Dec. 20, 2009) is an American actress and recording artist. She starred in films such as Just Married, Clueless, Girl, Interrupted, 8 Mile, Sin City, The Dead Girl, and Riding in Cars with Boys. Murphy was reportedly in full cardiac arrest when Los Angeles Fire Dept. paramedics responded to a 911 from her husband’s Los Angeles home at 8 a.m. Attempts to revive her were not successful, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
